Terrible

Specialty :Emergency Room
I have until now had a favorable impression of Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital. That was until I had need of the emergency facilities. I was very surprised at how disorganized and shoddy the emergency facilities are r un (and this was not at a particularly hectic time). From the entrance - unclear where one is supposed to go- to the checkout procedure which I am still unclear about. Poor communication from the assigned doctor and nursing staff. I was told that a nurse would keep me updated. In the 5 hours I was there this nurse did not come by once. The technician running CAT scan was on the phone while running a head scan.
I will not use this emergency room again.

Top Notch!

Specialty :
From my own personal experience I can attest that this place is a top notch academic teaching medical center. If your medical problem is complex and difficult- this is a hospital to consider getting care at- you will receive the best medical attention.
