UPDATE: a lovely woman from banner’s scheduling department reached out to me today to personally apologize for the inconvenience. At the end of the day the situation that occurred could happen to anyone... more and i appreciate her searching through the data base to hunt down my contact information. She also said she would pass along my contact information to the lactation specialist so that i could receive the help i was needing. I feel that she went above what she needed to to rectify the situation and am very appreciative.
I loaded up my 7 w/o kid in 105° weather to drive 40 minutes for your regularly scheduled 11 am breast feeding support group. Get here to find that the 11 am group (which has signage posted at the front desk and your “information” line acknowledges is at 11 am today) has been moved to 2 pm. And this was only after i waited around for 40 minutes trying every phone line and desk for answers! I had my baby wait to eat so that i could get the help i was needing so she was screaming in your lobby desperately wanting to eat. I won’t be back for your group, i will find somewhere else to go. This was ridiculous.
I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 because my delivery experience was good. I liked my delivery and care nurses, my delivery doctor and my anesthesiologist. However, your delivery waiting room and elevators are disgusting! Looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages.
Excellent care. Was in labor and went to ER because I could not make it to St Joseph's. Delivered my baby within 20 mins and entire time nurses, nurses aides and doctors were caring, quick and very supportive... more during delivery. During the stay, the nurses were amazing. With the exception of a few staff members who were rude, I would recommend this hospital to family and friends. A few bad apples can't spoil the bunch. Every staff member from doctor to kitchen or housekeeping was friendly and always asked if we needed anything else. Would have loved to get more help with breastfeeding while I was a patient, but otherwise was a great experience.
I had my first baby here 2 weeks ago , and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived I felt that me and my baby were cared for. I had four different nurses during my time... more in labor and delivery and I wish I remembered all their names because they were all amazing! The two nurses that were in the room while I was getting my epidural helped tremendously I don’t think i could’ve been so calm without their amazing spirits there to keep mine up. I do remember Janessa (I hope that’s how to spell it) she was the nurse that in the room during the delivery and she was perfect. She was kind , and very supportive. She actually ended up delivering my daughter basically on her own because my baby didn’t wanna wait a couple minutes for the doctor. Thank you everyone and anyone that I interacted with , you guys made this such an amazing start to being to mother.
