These people are the worst. They had me in ICU for 6 days to tell me they want me to drive to Houston on my own. This was after I was airlifted from Baylor Scott and White. I suggest people especially... more middle to low class stay away from the Baylor Mafia!!! The nurses are young and will stick you any kind of way with IV's. I suffered an injury while there. It was times no one would help me or feed me. I hate this place.
Would have given them zero stars if I could. Other than a very thorough and compentant Dr and a few decent nurses, this is hands down the worst oncology hospital I've ever been too. My mother in law recently... more had surgery and was bumped all the way to the last surgery of the day despite arriving as scheduled. Second shift care nurse did not even bother to show us where the lockers were and the waiting area. Updates were very slow with my wife and I having to request them. Post surgery the nursing staff was neglectful and had it not been for me getting on their case, they would not have checked her in despite her having a heart condition. We called to request water for the patient and they made my wife go get it as they were "too busy" with other patients. Overnight and when my wife and I left, they took my mother in law's call remote away as they were getting bothered by her calling them for help. If you looked around they were all on their cell phones with a look that they don't want to even be there. Worst care I've ever witnessed. Avoid this hospital, there are way better hospitals in Tyler TX that actually know what healthCARE should be.
