Amazing staff. Thorough and really take the time to take care. Jason took my blood quickly and left no bruising (most usually leave me bruised for weeks) Brandi was my nurse and Ryan was my PA. Tim even... more came in and checked on me as well. Maria was cleaning linens and spoke with me too. Everyone was so nice and helped to keep me calm and alert in my time of need. I can't thank them enough for being so thorough and kind.
I'm sitting in t ER waiting room, WR, reading all t negative feedback, here; my wife in terrible abdominal pain. 2 different people to register her, then a triage nurse interview. WR was full, hour and... more a half later, WR is packed at 1pm in t afternoon. She needs something for pain, no can do. Noise and commotion not helping, waiting in t foyer for less noise. Finally ask where we r on t list, we're still down 15 names. Took her home and put her to bed. So I give it a -10 on a scale of 1 to 10.
Next ER visit, only 2.5hrs (and they bumped us up t list for some reason) blood test and 30 minute consult w RN and PA. WR is packed, 3-6pm on a Wed. No other tests, no meds, got a referral to another hospital. $4800. R U KIDDING ME, RIGHT NOW?!?!? Then t doc,...er I mean RN & PA company charge $932 for 15 minute (each) evaluation & 15 minute (each) consult. That's $932 for 1 hour and $4800 for t ER.
Physical Therapy for me......$650 per hour.
R U KIDDING ME?!?!? $650 per hour for a therapist, NO DOCTOR. 6 of those visits w condition getting worse w each visit, return to my doctor, to demand a MRI!!!!! Resulting in surgery and permanent injury!!!!
Next ER visit, called ahead, 6 minute wait on phone, on hold 4 times, finally connected to ER, what's ur wait time?, 3.5 HOURS!!! Get there, only 10 ppl in waiting room. Seriously?!?! Get in a room, turn lights off, shut door(for hallway noise), put a blanket on, brrr, fall asleep. And wait, er, held for evaluation. Go home, 5 hours.
Next 2 visits, went reasonably well.
Possible broken foot, x-rays, not broken, sent home. PA, NO Doctor.
Family member, possible broken ribs, x-rays, pain meds, sent home, not broken. AGAIN PA, NO Doctor, exorbitent bill from "doctor" company.
How can this place be considered a hospital? The patient clearly has strep throat (fever, swollen uvula, small bumps that appeared over night on back of neck) and they sent him away with no antibiotics... more and told him there's nothing they can give him to relieve the pain and swollen throat. Unbelievable!
Rate of readmission after discharge from hospital (hospital-wide)
Rate - 15.7% (0.3% below the national rate)
