Holy Cross Hospital is a cornerstone of the Nogales, Arizona community; providing much-needed emergency care, general surgery, labor and delivery services, and important health and wellness education for... more residents throughout Santa Cruz County. This 25-bed critical access hospital, first established in 1960, has been a part of the Carondelet Health Network since the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet began managing the hospital in the early 1980s.
Staff appears to lack basic medical skills that is necessary for an American based hospital. Hopefully new leadership can come in and make some changes. Until then, I’ll make the drive to Tucson next... more time.
If you have the unfortunate luck of having to go to this ER, stay far away from Dr. Reid!!! He is a rude, arrogant “doctor” that has his head so far up his a**. He does not explain ANYTHING to his... more patients and God forbid a patient have any type of question for him, he walks out when they’re mid-question. He is a total joke. He treated my mother like trash then REFUSED to let her see another physician which is her legal patient right! Then he discharged her without getting her CT or x-ray results back!! When she asked him why he would not let her see another doctor for a second opinion (because he wasn’t doing his job), he stormed off like a child! This guy is a joke and he’s taking the hospital down with him!
Rate of readmission after discharge from hospital (hospital-wide)
Rate - 16.2% (0.2% above the national rate)
