It's a really good and well-equiped hospital in Cebu City. Staff, from the guards all the way to the nurse and doctors are very friendly and helpful.
Tips to remember:
*Parking is 20... more pesos for the first 3 hours then 5 pesos for every succeeding hour henceforth. Pretty reasonable now compared to before. Just don't loose your ticket.
*Parking is always full, except sometime around 10PM - 7AM where most people aren't there.
*Bring in blankets or pillows are prohibited. You don't want to bring any illness back to your home would you?
*Entrance closes at 9PM, entrance available after that are the Emergency entrance and the New Wing. Although the New Wing will only allow people bringing/arriving via cars from usin their entrance.
*Each room has a number of allowable watchers each with their own pass. Bring it with you if you plan to go out after 9PM.
* For Philhealth benefits, always keep an updated record. Bring your ID with a photocopy of Member's Data Record (MDR) for the patient. Otherwise, your MDR or ID if the patient is registered as your dependent. If you need to update your record or need an original MDR form, there's a nearby PhilHealth Express Counter at the 3rd floor of Robinsons Fuente. Queue is around 2 hours especially if you're sitted at the other side of the counter.
*Room cutoff is at 5PM. If you're settling your bill or discharge papers, make sure it's settled before 5PM to avoid an additional charge for the ward/room.
*At Billing, during the day it might take sometime around 1-2 hours, especially if you're in the discharge queue. And at certains times even longer. They accept credit cards.
*To visitors and watchers, please try to be polite and nice to the staff. I do understand things and the situation can get to you but that doesn't mean that you can't show a little smile or greet the staff a pleasant morning who works towards giving the best experience for everyone.
I’m italian and I had surgery here to do my appendicitis. I was super scared as I was far from home and no idea about the conditions and the experience of the doctors here.
Everyone has been very... more nice and super available. Doctors are good and very human.
Very recommended. I paid 3000€ for this, of course It’s better to be insured
Pathetic service & roach-infested ward. Arrived 0145 for chest pain & cough. Doctor after doctor asking questions but none checked my throat. No medication given until 7 hours later! The non-aircond ward... more was full of cockroaches. When asked for other rooms, was told none available. So i was there sweating profusely. Finally decide to leave due to the unbearable condition, and still had to wait 2-3 more hours, and thats after persistent demand. Was only finally released at 1345. Official complaint is on the way to the relevant authorities.
