This hospital is dirty, the air inside is stuffy, and some of the staff are unprofessional. I visited a patient there recently and witnssed staff fail to close the privacy curtain when another patient... more was having a medical proceedure done. Another staff giggled when I picked up a phone by covering it first with the end of my shirt to avoid germs. Some of the hallway carpet is visibly dirty. I wonder if this hospital is ever inspected by the state? My impression is that at least some of the staff have zero concern for the dignity of the unfortunate people who find themselves hospitalized there. If I were a nurse or doctor I would not work at or use this hospital.
Worst experience ever . unprofessional
and lack of attention in the ER waited the whole day for a psychologist to see in their mental health unit. They didn't inform me it was a psychiatry unit... more for mental illness people .
One of the nurses in the unit eventually made me feel comfortable making it seem like I'd get help when the next day they gave me a drug not medicine a drug that intensifies what you feel to diagnose you. Day after i found out it was an addictive opiate... I spent 3 hours trying to leave the place while being on that drug and was giving me a hard time to contact my family to leave the place .
,When I was in the unit I was told that I was unable to leave that I would be put in a 48 hour hold, however they let me leave the next day and called it "special leave" since they knew they were in the wrong . they take advantage of those poor people in that unit...:/
