If you need stitches or have a broken limb, this is the place to go. However if you have an actual medical problem, or complicated health issues, do not put your life in the hands of this hospital, go... more to a real ER. There are often no attending MD's to be found, so your survival depends on PA's and (if you're lucky, an intern) diagnosing you correctly. They err on the side of total disregard for the patient when it comes to calling in a surgical or specialist consult (or even just a freaking MD), so PA's send severely ill people home. I was misdiagnosed despite TELLING MY DOCTOR what I had, and suffered an infarction later that day. I could not be more disgusted with the care I received. It's a sorry state when the patient is more competent than the physician. Unless your problem is glaringly obvious or mechanical; I strongly suggest you go elsewhere.
Waited hours to get treated for my allergic reaction which kept getting worse and the doctor was no where to be found. One nurse was extremely helpful, the other named Natasha, condescending and rude,... more even went as far as calling me impatient for asking if theres any news after 2 hours of silence. This is my 5th and last time going to this ED. No one deserves to be ignored and disrespected by their so called care takers. Disgusting. P.s. not once was I moved to a room, I was placed in the hallway and ignored for 3 hours.
