I had my baby here and it was a complete disaster. Between numerous epidurals not working and shots to kick start it that caused me to crash twice and my baby to lose oxygen levels. Baby would not fit... more so had to do a c section. They forgot to turn pitocin off while I was waiting for OR. Couldnt find another doctor to scrub in for c section for 45 minutes.Tried a spinal tap, but ended up having to put me under completely. Told my husband he was on standy by while they prepped me in the room, while they had already started the c section. No one came to get him so he missed it completely. They didnt glue over stitches after surgery, and they ripped open on one side trying to get out of bed. The list goes on and on and this is supposed to be one of the best places to deliver.
On another note, had to bring baby in to er a few months later, while was very sick/screaming constantly late in the middle of the night. They charged over $1700 for a doctor to look at her for 5 minutes, swab her throat and test for flu & strep. Determined it was pharyngitis and safe to go back to day care. Needless to say, she had hand foot and mouth, which is highly contagious.
Went to the ER after work yesterday with what I thought was a kidney stone. Turns out it wasn't (thank God), but I did have an infection that I wouldn't have known about otherwise. From the get go, I was... more treated with absolute compassionate care. I only went to East Cooper because it was just a mile from my office, but I'm glad I did. Thank you, East Cooper ER - fabulous service!
About two weeks ago my father had a surgery here. I can thank them enough for the wonderful attention and care not only for my father but also for my anxious mother on the waiting room. The nurses was... more absolutely amazing!! Everyone from the time we walk in to the time we left the facility was extremely nice to us, and made my dad feel that he was in great hands. Thank you!
