i had a cerebral stroke in march,i didn't get diagnosed until june 2017 i saw a very rude man called dr conrad who was way to big for his boots, spoke down to me and said i was fine, even the nurse looked... more perplexed when he just kept ignoring me.he didn't even bother to read my notes properly. 7 months on i am back at work but i have been left with damage. i have photo phobia, neck pain, i have to wear dark glasses as strip lights effect me badly,i actually lose balance. even my gp says i have some damage in the cerebellum, which might or might not recover. this arrogant man who found it difficult to answer any of my questions should not work with people as his bedside manner is appalling ,and yes i did complain ,which was ignored.... bad example for an otherwise very hardworking trust, every other member of staff that i have come into contact with have been wonderful, not him. i know i shouldn't really name and shame but i have to,,i just hope he reads this.
Had Triple Angioplasty at the DGH and wish to send my thanks and well wishes to the Cardiac unit and its consultants and staff who were without exception all excellent. Thankyou for the care, kindness and... more efficient and safe treatment. All the best :)
Always been treated really well here .have had many operations mostly only in for a day .the staff are always polite and smiling even through a 7 hour wait in accident and emergency with my son.if ever... more a complaint is made it's never about the staff just the management of the trust itself.
