The doctors and nurses here were very friendly and informative. Our newborn was given lots of attention and everything was fully explained to us. We had virtually no wait time, and we were treated with... more very high urgency. Our visit to this ER was definitely #1 compared to other places that we've visited.
Horrible ER. Avoid if possible and head elsewhere.
Second time in one year that I brought a family member to this ER, only to be misdiagnosed! First with a misread ultrasound which caused my daughter... more to be sent home, only to return the next day in unbearable pain requiring emergent surgery.
Last weekend I brought in a second family member. Took 30 minutes before anyone even stuck their head in the room. When I asked a nurse in the hall when someone would be seeing her, I was told "we have a lot of people in pain, there's a man down the hall in pain". Such empathy from the staff!
Her writhing and crying in pain finally brought in her nurse. Our nurse never introduced herself and no one seems to wear name badges there. One nurse had a badge on that was totally washed clean of any printing. I guess the staff likes to remain anonymous. However, the fact of this visit was that after labs, ultrasound and CT the doctor announces 6 hours later since arrival that she was fine--all normal scans. I took her home in pain, nausea and vomiting where she laid in bed for another 24 hours at home.
Well the story ends the same as the first episode.
This time the CT performed that night was definitely abnormal and report stated such. I can only assume the ER doctor read someone else's report ? ? My fault for trusting Edward ER a second time. I won't be fooled a third.
This hospital is ridiculous. I don't understand I came in twice and the first time it was semi busy and they took forever. I come in the next day there is no one in the waiting room and they still take... more Forever. I think they have a lack of urgency here. Doesn't make sense get the people who are not as serious out quickly so you can keep moving.
