This hospital is amazing. My friend Grape's skin got infected, so he had to have it taken off. The surgeons here were very professional, and they carefully and tediously took his skin off. The surgery... more was successful, and now he is currently recovering. Sadly, though, he won't ever be able to grow his skin back. Regardless, I am very thankful for the doctors here, they are very kind and helpful.
Edit: It's a week later, and they called my friend Grape back in. And, they replaced his skin! The staff here are amazing. Originally they were going to leave his skin off, but they put it back on... free of charge!
My family and I have come to this hospital many times over the years for things that kids do (kids being kids). This will be my very last visit to Edwards Naperville or otherwise. The staff in the ER... more was so inattentive, my child ended up having nothing wrong- maybe a pulled muscle but because of her explanation of pain they ran 20 expensive tests. After waiting hours for results they said everything was inconclusive. Yet they ran yet another test- a urine test. (They told me that they were going to run a urine test and never gave me the cup. I asked when we went for a series of ultrasounds to have one just in case because they said that they needed on. So now the patients have to be responsible for their own care). They completely forgot about us and it was evident. So sad, they seem more about $ then patient care.
