The staff at this hospital colleberat with orders from the criminal cops on everything from orders to dehydrate patients for over 14 hours, write off the injuries the police cause as minor abrasions, refuse to provide patients with the results of cat scans, xrays, forced blood tests and drug tests accrued with forced catheterization on dehydrated patients. The IV Insertion left several holes and such an extreme level of bruises the medic at the Mease hospital Pinellas County Jail tranfered me to was in shock. He was able to draw blood and insert an IV without causing any pain or bruising. The 2nd and 3rd hospitals i was transferred to both documented evidence of Assualt and dehydration, even though Pinellas Jail provided me with water as soon as I arrived.
It was my first time in this hospital and definately not the best expericience for an ER visit. I was there for total of 6 hours they run all the tests but no diagnosis no idea what is wrong. I had to... more leave because they did some tests at 10:00pm and by 2:00am they still had no results. The whole time I was there the doctor only seen me for 10 minutes and check on me once. None of the nurses offer water or anything. Now I am probably stuck with a high medical bill and no diagnosis. Great now to spend more money seen another doctor. Just terrible. On top of that as well they have no rooms for patient they move you from whatever they call a room because they have to put another person there. I don't like bad reviews but I felt treated less because I didn't come in an ambulance or was intoxicated like other people there that left right away and came way after me. Unacceptable.
I did not wake up on 11/10/13. I was rushed by ambulance to this hospital. The E.R Dr from what my husband tells me was outstanding he gets the star. I was intubated and put in an induced coma in ICU... more I was in septic shock failed kidneys dyalisis every other day central line pick line port for dyalisis. I woke up 7 days later. ICU nurses were very rough. One turned off the protocol and woke me up on the 3rd day " by mistake" when moving me onto a stretcher to go to step down unit ( I was unable to use hands arms feet legs) 8 days later the same nurse let my head flop around and hurt my neck severely. While in step down I woke up to a bunch of Dr's nurses and people in my room talking about my medical issues the people there were NOT Medical professionals however all my HIPPA was discussed by my Dr. I fired her.
Once on step down I was delirious got out of bed and fell. Laid on floor crying for help for over an hour as some nurse had closed my door. I did not break any bones but it delayed my recovery.
I was actually yelled at like a child by a nurse very abusive. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the State of FLorida. This hospital is dangerous.
