Went to one of Grandview's affiliated doctors office Lederach Family Practice. However didn't see a doctor. What we did encounter was a incompetent Nurse or Physician Assistant.By the way if you're going... more to a doctor's office you might as well see a doctor not someone less educated.I found that out the long and hard way. I am only writing this review to warn others of my nightmare that started when I made the mistake of letting Shannon Ramono diagnose me. Then after she realized her mistake she contacted child services. (Trying to discredit me) Well none of the lies worked. Chid services did their investigation and now know they were lied to.And we have them on recording stating this. I would recommend that you Stay Away from Granview or any of it's Affiliated doctor's offices.
Horrific. They left me bleeding for over 4 hours with not a single person coming into talk to me. Turned out i had a miscarriage but none of their staff could be bothered to tell me until 4 hours later.... more Blood was running down to my ankles and no one would come talk to me. They didnt even bother to ask or test my blood type (which is rh neg) so i had to spend the next few days, while i was grieving the loss of my baby, trying to get into multiple docs, then finally the hospital to get a shot i needed...and they made every step as difficult as possible. It was cruel. They dont care. They're simply cruel for money.
This review is minus my experience (good/bad) as an ex-volunteer. When I volunteered it was only in the ER.
(1) Several weeks ago, I was admitted into the ER for an evaluation by Penn Foundation.... more Needless to say, this could have been quite awkward... me being a previous volunteer, them remembering me.... me being there at the time for psychiatric problems. They did not make it awkward for me. Although the nurse I had the next day, is not the most personable chap. Actually, he wasn't close to personable. But, aside from him.... They were compassionate/caring. Ativan was offered but not pushed. Doctor seemed thorough.... although, most of the hard work falls on PF staff (I'm not sure he was with Penn Foundation or not). But, he's not the one finding me a bed. I wasn't demeaned nor ignored. In fact, I left not regretting my decision. Versus hours earlier, not having many options.... and the ones I did have weren't too healthy.
(2) Today, I had a re-scheduled outpatient surgical appointment. Seen by staff I had never seen before (minus the doctor). And, therefore not potentially biased by previously volunteering with them. I also had a head cold and my monthly friend. And, I wasn't there for anything too in depth. But, again, I was treated very well. The prep was handled quickly. Nursing staff was prompt/professional. Dr. Fishman was good. I enjoyed our chat during the surgery.... which was a nice stress reliever. The post-op treatment was also above the bar.
I have very little to nothing to complain about either visit. If I need further help which requires a hospital, Grand View will be my place.
