My daughter and I were 10 hours from home visiting friends on the FT Knox base and she started having an asthma attack in the middle of the night We went to the closest ER and they got her in quickly... more and Dr Gruber was great with my 7yo. They did cheat X-ray and got her a breathing treatment. Nurse Amber and the resp therapy were nice too! We were in and out within two hours. It’s scary when you get sick in an unfamiliar town but they made it as painless as possible
After visiting HMH ER's department in 2015, they submitted wrong billing information to their ER Physicians and send me invoices in the wrong country! ... more />
Of course, not hearing back from me, they submitted my case to collections and 2 years later, I got aware of that case when my credit score started dropping massively.
I had to hire an attorney to protect my rights. The only thing I will remember from this experience is: next time I am injured, I will go to Louisville or Bardstown simply so I do not get to collection because of their administrative errors and so I do not need to hire an attorney to make sure they give you a call back.
HMH and their providers won't even collect their certified mails sent to them. Again, that's the worst service I've ever been through in the United States. I will never go back there. I encourage you to take this review seriously and to do the same.
Where to start. I will start by saying that I hope you never have to bring your loved ones here. My wife was brought in by ambulance 3 hours ago writhing in pain and she is still in the waiting room. I... more doesn't matter how nice you are to the staff, they still won't give you any helpful information. They won't even ask if my wife can take a Midol for her pain. They will not tell you how much longer. When they finally started sending patients back, they were not in as bad of shape as my wife, so they don't take you based on your pain level. They also don't do first come first serve because patients that have not been here as long as my wife have been called back before her. We finally got called to a room and on the way there, we walked by 7 empty rooms. To make a long story short, this is the last time I come here and watch someone I care for sit in pain in a waiting room for hours. Sad and ridiculous!!!
