My experience with Hazel Hawkins Hospital and its staff have always been very positive (I was born in the old hospital 71 years ago) and have always defended it when I heard negative remarks from friends... more or family. However, this review is in response to a recent visit with one of your doctors, Dr. Al-Hasan. I have never been so rudely treated and yelled at by a doctor in my life when I was just trying to have a discussion with him about my wife's condition and the horrible pain she is currently going through. He basically accused of her of being a drug addict and trying to get pain medications and me of trying to question his authority as a doctor when she was just trying to relieve her chronic pain and severe depression after her previous doctor took her off the fentanyl she had been on for 17 years and was the only pain/fibromyalgia medication that had ever worked and would allow her to function despite her never ending pain. Dr. Al-Hasan should not be allowed to meet with patients. Such behavior should not be tolerated or acceptable by a doctor representing Hazel Hawkins Hospital. Thank you for reading my angry, but justified, tirade.
I had my gallbladder removed at the surgery center on the 14 of May.
The staff was absolutely amazing from the minute I walked in until the moment I rolled out.
They kept me comfortable and... more relaxed.
Every single person from the front desk to nurses to the Dr. had a smile on there face and were warm and caring.
They kept a cheerful balance and kept me laughing the few hours I spent there.
Thank you thank you thank you to every single one of you. You care and should all know how much you all make a difference in people’s lives.
