The Emergency Department is horrible! First impressions count, first thing I noticed was how unhygienic this place is! The triage nurse was unprofessional looks like she jumped off the hospital bed & needs... more emergency treatment herself!!! coughing all over sneezing using her arm, hair dangling all over, attitude asking questions, not one bit friendly and acts like she doesn't care about her job or patients!
the staff in this Emergency department need training how to act professional- the nurses look dirty, the uniform needs a good scrub, they have hair down, wearing jewelry (which is cross contamination a breeding ground for germs!) the staff never smile, look miserable & act totally unprofessional. They put us in a room with a tv high on the wall and told us there's no remote, a side chair to use- prone for accidents!? You can hear all the staff talking loud, laughing & joking, no respect for patients, this is so unprofessional. In the rooms there was dirty stains on the pillows, bedding, the wires was all over the floor, just makes you feel dirty being in here couldn't wait to get out, they wanted me to stay over, well judging on this part of the hospital- it's this bad I can't imagine what's going on with the rest of it! its the last place I would want to stay, it's nothing like celebration hospital.
This is my second time at this hospital. After hurricane Irma we lost power. Staying in our home cause me heat exhaustion. Also had a sinus infection. Finally went to get treated for both. Arrived... more at 3:15am. No one at the front desk. Registred through a computer system they have. The nurse that takes your vital asked me two questions and shipped me to a waiting room. Room smelled like urine, floor was filty, the soil basket with filled that caused the urine smell in the room. Bed linen was dirty. Sees it hasn't been changed in days, room overall was nasty and smelled. The so called Dr. Michael Mchale came in with an attitude like why are you bothering me tonight face. He asked what was wrong, I said shortness of breath, an infection in my ear due to an infected stye, anxiety, heat exhaustion and a feeling of passing out. My blood pressure was 100/85. Said I had a sinus infection and to put hot compress on my eye and put an oitment on. That is it. Said nothing else. I literally was in and out in 20 min. Staff is unfriendly, place is dirty and they barely speak to you. I will never come here again. Worth driving 30 min. to. celebration. Worst hospital ever !!!!!
