After our baby was born and taken to special care we were left in an antenatal room not knowing what was going on with our baby and having to chase down the doctors for information. Two days and a half... more later moved to postnatal ward where staff were lovely but there is this rule that from 1-3pm only women are allowed so visitors and partners have to leave. So, we can stay overnight but not from 1-3pm?? Oh yeah makes lots of sense. I can understand visitors but partners?? My wife and daughter in there and I can't be with them? On the antenatal ward I was staying from 9am to 8pm with no problem. Mixed feelings about this hospital. Really nice people but if you come across the wrong ones can make your experience go down the toilet.
Dreadful service from the call desk. I was calling to cancel an appointment so would like to let them know but the person who was on the call was rude and doesn't even ask if she could be any help and... more just transferred you directly to the department who put me on hold for ages. Even though I have tried a few times and gave up. Though, the last Paediatrics was lovely.
