Mother went in to the ER a couple days ago with lethargy and swollen legs. She has a history of Congestive Heart Failure, so we had an idea of what was going on before getting her there. They discharged... more her the same night saying "get plenty of rest and follow up with primary". Fine. So a day goes by and she is worse off than the day she went; chest pain and shallow breathing. We brought her back (primary is off for a few days; probably playing golf or something) and they sat her in the ER hallway for over 4 hours, giving her no shortage of attitude and rudeness. They told her she had a heart attack.
She was finally admitted and when I call her she says that shes been waiting all day for a doctor to come do tests, that she's been in bed, still getting chest pain and is still getting rudeness from staff. She sounds like hell.
You serious? Is this a hospital or a military infirmary? Get a more compassionate staff. One star for admitting her, even though she should've been the first time.
Right now my son is with his girlfriend who had to be rushed out of town 2 hours to this hospital for surgery . They are strangers in your community. My self my son and his girlfriend don’t have much... more family to depend on . The emergency has left their finances depleted . From not working and the little money he had is here 2 hours away with no way for me to get it to him . He expressed to your staff that he was hungry and asked for guest tray or courtesy food . Which your facility probably throws away anyway due to state storing laws . It is a shame to treat another human being like that !!! And to be stingy with food !!!!!He said he literally felt like he’s starving . I know for a fact you can write this food off and order him a guest tray but your staff in the surgical department has been stingy giving him excuses of rules instead of making it happen . To be in the health care field is next to Godliness. Do not abuse your authority. Do not forget your humanity. Do not kill your blessing . ..
