Endocrinology department is full of lies. Luis from the access center told me appointment shout take 24-48 hours for the doctors to review. Called back after 2 days got told by another lady that it actually... more takes 2 weeks and they have new staff and they do not really know the protocol. It is 2 weeks today I called back only to get told that they should review it by the end of the week. Same guy Luis very rude. Asked to speak with another person at the front desk but there was no one else. This is absolutely ridiculous. Been having the worst headaches for the past year trying to get seen by a specialist. I have gone NOWHERE!
Took my 6yr old non verbal son who is on the spectrum. He was having stomach pains and also trouble breathing. There was some great staff there but most of them had no idea what they were doing. It was... more a sensory overload for my son due to being very unorganized. They had no rooms for a situation like that. My son was screaming and all they kept doing was trying to get his blood pressure. There were other children next to us that also were sick, so the screaming wasn't fair for those children that were resting. I felt so bad, but that's the way my son communicates. We had other parents giving us dirty looks and a group of nurses just staring. It made us feel very uncomfortable. They sent my son home with the diagnoses of heat exhaustion. They ran zero test and nothing was ever done. It was like we were a bother and they were rushing us out.
