The staff inside the ER are very young and unprofessional.
The last time I was there, a elderly woman in pain in the middle of the hallway at least a couple of hrs they wouldn't attend to her but... more I saw them laughing and on their phones behind their desks.
They charge so much for services yet there are not enough rooms in the ER where oftentimes they need to put you in a hallway on a bed for hours. Yet they are always asking for a donation when they just rebuilt the hospital.
A lot of unprofessional people when your supposed to trust them with your care. Call light response most of the time 20+ min. when if your next to the nurse station you can hear them talking and laughing... more then when they do decide to answer the light it's always"every one was busy we are sorry". It's like their just here for a check and makes the handful of good workers look bad.
My baby surprised me 6 weeks early. L.G.H. let me stay in the Pediatrics Unit as a lodger during his stay in the Special Care Nursery. I attended all of the feedings. The nurses showed me how to care... more for my preemie. I got generous room service. My biggest complaint was that they couldn't handle more than one situation at a time. There was a baby who needed to be transported at the same time that there was an issue with my baby. Overall, they were accommodating during a very scary time.
