Lutheran is a great hospital. I mean any hospital with the best children's hospital in the state would be the better hospital. In my opinion they are better than Parkview for sure. After my car accident... more in 2016 I went to Parkview and here I am year later still going thru parkview never been to any other hospital myself. With all that being said my fiances was injured this year and he ended up at Lutheran. Lutheran team and staff are alot better, more caring, understanding, better listeners, and more compassionate. My grandpa has been in the hospital 3 times in the last 6 years for different reasons and he goes to Lutheran. They have treated him great every single time. So with my fiance, my grandpa, and my niece all receiving care at Lutheran each visit or each hospital stay they have each had different nurses and doctors all of which have been great people who know and do there job at 110%. If I had it to do over I too would have chosen Lutheran hospital for all my health care needs. I would and will from now on refer anyone to Lutheran. Where the nurses, doctors and staff not only know what there doing but do a wonderful job at it. Lets all give them a pat on the back. THANK YOU LUTHERAN HOSPITAL FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID FOR MY FAMILY.
WARNING THIS HOSPITAL NURSING STAFF ABUSES ELDERLY PATIENTS. On Thursday at about 5 am,
I was transported to Lutheran hospital by ambulance while having a heart attack. During my stay there in... more the so-called ICU I was neglected and abused by several of their nursing staff. I NEVER GOT TO SEE A DOCTOR, although I kept asking to see one.
The doctor in the emergency room put a stent in my body to unplug a blocked artery. During my stay in the "intensive care unit' ,I started bleeding like a stuck pig. No one noticed it because there was no 'intensive care available.' The blood was all over the place. There was blood on the wall, on the bed and other equipment in my room. I began to feel dizzy from loss of blood.
The nurse on duty was charged with removing the stents from my groin. I asked for a local anesthesia but was denied. I asked that a doctor remove them but was denied this also. This was the most painful and cruel thing that was ever done to me. WHERE DO THESE NURSES GET THEIR TRAINING?????????????IN A CONCENTRATION CAMP???????
Throughout my stay there I kept requesting to see a doctor, One RN told me that I had seen a doctor and that it was recorded. When I told her she was a liar she insisted that a doctor was there. I called my son to come and pick me up.
WHEN IS SOMEONE GOING TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE HOSPITAL CONDITIONS IN FORT WAYNE,.
...... A VERY HIDEOUS HOSPITAL STAFF OF NURSES...........WHITE TRASH NURSES , WITH A " I Q" OF 50..........LAZY, STUPID ,IDIOTS WHO ARE NOTHING MORE BUT FELONS............AND SHOULD NOT BE TAKING CARE... more OF PATIENTS.
........I HAVE ALSO NOTICED SEVERAL IDIOT MEDICAL STAFF AND DOCTORS JOGGING AROUND THE PARKING LOT OF LUTHERAN HOSPITAL.......I GUESS THAT IS ALL THEY ARE GOOD FOR!
