I sat in the billing office for 40 min waiting to be helped. Apparently their billing system was down. They knew why I was there since you need to sign in and circle the reason. There were staff members... more walking around behind the glass and sitting at their desks, not helping anyone, conversating etc. Not once did anyone come and say, "I'm sorry our billing system is down, would you like to wait, or would you like to return at another time?" I could've easily sat there for over an hour, and no one would have said anything. Very unprofessional. Very low customer service, and courtesy. The only reason I knew their system was down was because as I was leaving, I heard them say, "Our system is now back up and running." And the much more courteous staff member at the front desk let me know as well, as I was exiting the hospital, as she apologized for my experience. This is not my first experience in this same department with the same type of issue/treatment/lack of courtesy/ease of taking their time.
I give them 1 star because the staff are rude, asking them question and they are ignoring us. Nurse giving us discharge result very unprofessional her name Paula and the aid Kent. So shame that insurance/... more Medicare paying this hospital with bad service.
WORST HOSPITAL EVER! TREATS PATIENCE LIKE DRUG ADDICTS WHEN THEY ASK FOR HELP AND NEVER CHECK IN ON PATIENCE. WOULD HELP IF THEY HIRED SOME NURSES THAT ACTUALLY SPEAK ENGLISH AND NOT JUST A BUNCH OF DAMN... more GOOKS!
