I had to take my mother here when she was visiting and had an asthma attack. The staff was attentive, and knowledgeable, but not very courteous. The wait times are sorta long, and the patients seemed... more a little agitated, which made me concerned about our safety. This may have been why the staff was callous. I might have chosen Baylor had I known about that. My mother was an E.R. nurse in the Bronx, and an Air Force R.N. for 40+ years and is hard to please. She didn't complain all that much so it made it easier on me.
This is by far the best health care I have ever received in my life time. When my 13 year old daughter broke her arm last summer. I was hesitant to come here but we decided it was the only option. Once... more we got there I was blown away by the excellence from the Doctors and the nurses. When ever something bad happens to me I know where I am going to go. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Please do not go here. Got admitted to the ER due to high blood pressure. They were fantastic. ICU is the problem. I realized quickly this was the sams hospital my dad was admitted to because he couldn't... more pee. They gave him the wrong medicine causing a blood clot. Turns out he had prostate cancer. Now I'm here over night & have yet to see 1 doctor. I had to tell the nurse I wasn't connected correctly & they treat you like a routine patient.
