If you are in immediate danger- it's the place to go... If you have the opportunity and time- IMO-- go to Muskegon or Grand Rapids.
The Nurses and Tech's here are great- but the E.R Doctors see you... more as a Number- and do NOT listen to the patients questions or requests.
Daughter has on-going medical problems-- but can't always get into the doctor and they send us to the E.R...
But as soon as they see she is on Meds for depression- they ignore ANY physical symptoms and tell her it's "her nerves"...
Needed a simple test- at first Doctor refused- after I insisted, he took a sample but NEVER DID THE TEST-- then came back and LIED to us about the results!
We know this because their Lab posted ALL the results on-line...
he did a PREGNANCY TEST without consent instead of the labs she needed!
Week later, our doctor did the test and the results are BAD!
Could have been caught sooner!
Am contacting his Boss.
Well at first service here was very good. After waiting over 20 minutes my husband had to ask what was taking so long to get some type of relief for the severe pain. Come to find out the doc hadn't put... more it in the computer yet so the rude nurse left a note for the doctor. Yet again after another 20 minutes my husband went back to nurse station. The nurse was very rude again. Seems if someone is not able to be pleasant and polite they should not be dealing with people. I am in the medical field myself and am not happy with having to be treated so rudely.
