This is where people go to die! My 84 year old mom was brought into the ER, only to WAIT for SEVERAL HOURS IN PAIN while the staff talked about what they did over the weekend. When I complained, (along... more w/ other people there waiting), they told me to go back to my room & that's when I raised holy hell to get my mom the care she needed. She was misdiagnosed, given the wrong antibiotic, then sent home only to return 2 weeks later & was worse. We waited SEVERAL HOURS AGAIN before my mom was admitted this time after the nurses/doctors were rude & had no care or empathy whatsoever!!! My mom was VERY SICK & we didn't think she'd pull through. Dr Brown, (who should lose her license), was her doctor & so cold & took my mom off of all her medications that she was on for over 30-40 years from her pcp doctor. She had bed sores after only 3 days, was left in her own filth unless I got a nurse, wasn't given a bed pan unless you constantly complained, we had to make sure she got any care at all & the worst part is they moved my mom to another room saying she was better when SHE HAD NO IDEA WHO I WAS OR WAS BARELY CONSCIENCE! She was also getting blood drawn every 4 hours & her arms/hands looked like liver. I posted 4 photos on here, as I took pictures in the hospital. I don't know if you can view them or not but she looked like someone attacked her. This place should be shut down until everyone knows how to CARE for patients & not just want money!!! TERRIBLE!!!!
Not too happy with crappy policies. Came from Wisconsin to see my newborn niece and my kids were turned away at the door. While other children were walking out after a visit. They stayed they were worried... more about germs, but that didn't stop my sister from spending all her time there, with c-diff and strep throat.
Disappointed. I had to take my husband in for a panic attack issue, which he's been frequently having and we felt like the staff showed little compassion to his needs in general. There was one nurse who... more was excellent but it was the end of her shift and then a new nurse took over, who rude. The nurse could not draw blood said she was getting another nurse/doctor to do it and NEVER came back. We were there 3 hours when my husband decided he was feeling better and I had to find a nurse to let her know we were leaving out of courtesy and I didn't know if there was paperwork to sign for him to be released and the response we got was "it's a hospital not a prison." So we left without seeing a doctor. Don't think I'd go here for anything majorly serious.
