Just took mum (Eve Howard) to the outpatient Clinic.Drove into car park and straight into a invalidity place and got wheel chair out of the car.As soon as I got it out a chap with a tray of eggs came over... more and asked if I needed help (he may work in the cafe). He help with the wheel chair and told me best way to the ramps to the out patients. We were 20 minutes early but was showing straight in to do first checks. Then straight in to see the heart specialist again did checks (everything was OK ).So I was out before I was due in. So when I was on out I wasn't sure where we came in,then I heard someone say I think you came in from this way. It was one of the staff who had noticed us coming in. I thought what smooth start to the day.
I realise this hospital is a very old building, but a hospital needs to be more accessible than this. Hardly any disabled parking, not all entrances are accessible and the various departments are not always... more easy to find.
