This hospital and the care it provides has gone down hill. I used to want to come only to this hospital when I was sick because I knew I would receive the best care. Now when you enter , it what I imagine... more to be like jail, they treat you like you are just a number. A paycheck in their pocket.
Their are no people skills. In the triage, the "doctors " are not paying attention to the patient or their chart. Just how fast they can get patients in and out. I have been offered to medications on my allergy list that is updated very frequently.
When I contacted upper management they offered that I buy myself a medical bracelet. They question I have; if they couldn't take the time to read my chart and medical history, would they have taken the time to read my medical bracelet? My thought is probably not but at that point then the doctor would held accountable for her actions?
The billing department has some unfriendly people. Called to setup payments and I couldn't afford their options. So I paid what could afford monthly. Then after awhile I would get a phone call almost every other day saying my bill was going to collections.
I finally had enough and reached to customer relations. She never responded to my concerns after our first conversation. You waved me off.
Great Customer service! I will no longer go to this hospital.
I bought a medical bracelet and it says to take me to Alexian Brothers. I will also be changing my insurance so that I don't have to stay with any doctors from any NCH medical group.
Love my doctor but will not even go to the treatment for services.
If you have nothing better to do than wait, go here. I made an appointment for a simple blood test. I arrived 15 minutes early and went thru registration easily. Was then taken to the lab waiting area... more and left after 40 minutes because my lunch period was ending. That's almost one hour for a simple blood draw that I didn't even get. I'm going to have my doctor send the order to Quest. If you make an appointment there ,you are done in about 20 minutes.
