NPISTANBUL (Neuropsychiatry Istanbul) Turkey Hospital is a specialty hospitals carrying the first of its kind in its field. The hospital has 7,000 Sq Mt. indoor area with 50 beds, outdoor covered services,... more intensive care, brain imaging, neuroscience center, magnetic stimulation therapy, anesthesia, sleep and toxicology laboratories.
I was hospitalized at NP for 1 month in march 2017. The hospital is privately owned so all they care about is their money. Patients are treated without respect. They would bring sick patients in conference... more rooms filled with people in order for their "Uskudar university" students learn about mental hilneses such as I had Bipolar. In other words, they do not respect patient privacy. The sleeping bedrooms are nice but have a camera constantly running and watching you. The food is terrible but they allow you to order from the cafe.
Once the hospitalization is over they want you continue to attend doctors appointment etc.
In the end we got tired of paying so much money for a "hospital" that really only cares about your wallet. It's not a real psychiatric clinic and doesn't feel likes it because there no love for the patient. The employees are trained to be like robots instead of human beings.
It was a really disappointing experience. I don't recommend for anyone
