Emergency people work very hard to take care of all the patients. Security/Police is good and polite. Parking lot is free but far from emergency. The prices in this hospital for the services are HUGE!... more Even with the best health insurance, you pay BIG at Beaumont.
Beaumont Oakwood in Dearborn is terrible. There are a million white bugs flying around. The staff aren’t friendly, my baby with a temp of 103 and myself have been waiting over an hour to be seen and... more I’m in so much pain I can’t leave. Please believe people when they leave reviews! Do not come here!
The Emergency Department is horrific until you are seen by an actual doctor. The ER doctors and nurses are very responsive to your health needs to stabilize you.
The inpatient medicine specialists... more are very knowledgeable and work hard to find a solution to your health needs.
The nursing staff during the weekdays and week nights are excellent, professional, timely, and on schedule.
For some reason the weekend nursing personnel are the complete opposite. Very unprofessional, rude, hour or so late on patient rounds, etc.
The medical assistant try very hard to pick up the slack, but can’t do much except voice the patient concerns to the nursing personnel and request what you have requested several times while trying to keep you comfortable and calm.
The patient/nurse ratio in general is ridiculous and I’m sure contributes to the care received.
I am not pleased with the lack of patient care on weekends/holidays. I will say I seen the inpatient doc every day by 9am and specialist atleast once a day!!
