We chose PSL because that is where my OBGYN delivers (Dr. Breeden, Rocky Mountain Women's Care- highly recommend as well). My labor & delivery nurses were incredible, compassionate and made my delivery... more experience really wonderful. My recovery nursing team was also fantastic and we were very well taken care of during our stay. Thanks to the team at PSL for a wonderful experience!
Exceptional care and food. I had my second baby here basing the decision on my trusted provider (Dr Breeden of Rocky Mountain Women's Health). With my first baby I chose the hospital first based on location... more and appeal then the provider.
The lesson is:
Choose based on the quality of care you'll receive (that takes your insurance), not how pretty the hospital is. My first choice was a beautiful, new hospital but I was treated so badly I filed a complaint.
PSL hospital was undergoing renovations at the time of my 2nd birth and I could care less because of the quality of care I received and great food (even better than the first hospital).
Now i recommend PSL.
Rate of readmission after discharge from hospital (hospital-wide)
Rate - 14.5% (1.5% below the national rate)
