So just return the ER because they only gave me 3 days of leave from work. The problem is what I was diagnosed with Torticollus that may last couple days to a Week. Why give only a 3 day leave it Absence... more for something that would last possible week? Even if I had a Primary Doctor they saw me not him..most doctor's would be able to see you for about a month... so how does that help? So I called and Charge Nurse for the ER to wht they only gave me 3 days when I ask til this Thursday off? Her answer was that is was E R policy to only give 3 days off from work. That would have been fine...only I can't move my NECK! Her answer was not any help. So asked her had I broken my Arm or Leg would the 3 days still apply? Her Answer..."I Don't Know". I work in the medical field and to say I don't know to any patient is like telling them "I don't care, now be on your way...." NOT acceptable....
Get a primary care doctor and get referrals to a specialist, The people here are nice and quick but not thorough, they tend to rush you out and not take care of business. But if you have the flu or a cold... more then they can take good care of you, they claim to not have the equipment to take care of complex situations but on their website they brag about state of the art services... i'm confused.
I have had multiple surgeries and test done at the hospital. The care has always been outstanding. The problem always is in the communication. I just left my THIRD message for the financial department.... more I need to confirm my insurance coverage and my share of cost. They never return calls.... This is not one one time problem. I have had this same similar problem over my last three years. Very frustrating!
