My father was in for a heart cath and amputation of his toes. Procedure went well..it was the nurse and staff after to seem to dismiss his pain, change his diet plan 4 times in one day.. And not let him... more up to use the bathroom until physical therapy came, who brilliantly came when he was taken down for his dialysis treatment and never came back... My father hasn't been able to get to a restroom in 5 days and best they tell him is use the bed pan, or physical therapy will come tomorrow, we can try then...
This hospital doesn't seen to communicate with its staff or the patients. A hospital is usually a hard place to be, would it kill them to hire a few nurses that can joke a little or brighten spirits, or at least not make the experience so depressing and down. How can someone recover when their nurse dismisses their pain and acts like something was stuffed up their *** every time they enter the room...(I wont mention a name of the nurse) Herd great things about this hospital, but don't think I will be telling anyone the same!
I've had all great experiences here except for one. I've been to this hospital several times and gave birth to my son here in 2012. Everyone was so great for me. The one exception was when I was severely... more sick and my husband brought me in to the emergency room, while there they decided to do a spinal tap and the doctor that was doing my spinal tap was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I was scared and in a tremendous amount of pain and instead of being sympathetic or understanding he proceeded to joke about the old tattoo I had on my back from when I was younger, to his assistant. I remember already being in tears and after that just feeling so much worse. I was in the hospital for a week while severely ai after that, and I will say everyone else was amazing to me and I can't thank them enough for all their help. I had an amazing lady helping me when I needed an MRI, she was so sweet and caring. I will never forget her face or her kindness.
All in all with one exception, this hospital and the staff were all great.
I gave birth to my son here November 1st of last year. This is the nicest hospital I have ever seen. All of the doctors, nurses, and nurse aides were very attentive and friendly. The facilities were very... more clean. And the cafeteria is really impressive with all of the different food options. When the time comes I hope to give birth to my second child here!
