I went there and waited in the waiting area for an hour and a half before I decided to leave AMA. There were people there waiting for 3 hours. I witnessed the woman next to me wearing a gown with blood... more on it. Another woman puking in a bag. A third woman spoke to me stating she'd been waiting over 2 hours and her blood pressure was 200/180 (stroke level people) I understand there was more critical people in the back but there needs to be sufficient staff to accommodate the need, or the ER needs to be shut down before you kill someone. BTW - I went to Belton Regional and got right in, and received excellent service. They helped me with what I needed and sent me home to rest.
My mom was in the hospital for three days and was not offered a bath at all. The nursing staff was nice but more consumed with checking their cell phone and playing on internets then tending to the needs... more of the patient. When St. Luke's first opened, it was premium service and now the thrill is gone. They need to go back to what set them apart from the others. This stay I rank it a 1!!
E.R. is excellent, lab people came in my room to draw blood! Two different lab assistant. It was scary!! I have a Power Port no intravenous STUFF needed. I was in a great deal of pain. Please don't repeat... more this disorganization.
