I was a patient in their ER, it was SO BUSY, everyone from the Nurses, Dr.'s ,techs were so kind. I am not kidding it was Like an explosion in the ER.
but everyone kept their cool, not one single... more patient was ignored, i was there for several hours, the Finest Hospital and staff, impressive.
After sitting in the hallway being "taken care of" by 4 different nurses, I was told to "take a picture of the x ray to show your orthopedic specialist" of my broken foot. I was laughed at and told "that... more was the craziest thing they've ever heard and a picture from my phone was not an acceptable x ray" when I called my specialist. Make the trip back to ucla Santa Monica (with a broken foot) to get the records before I trek back to New York, and I am told I can get a copy by one nurse, the next nurse tells me it's illegal to release me a copy of my own records "for a number of reasons he won't get into". 4 days later no medical records, no help from the hospital, and no clear way in sight of getting them. I've never had such a terrible experience. What is the point of paying for an x ray if they refuse to give you a copy?????? That place is run by baffled idiots who all have something different To say from reception, to nurses, to the doctor. Do not go to this facility if you'd like to receive streamlined treatment for your injury. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.
Both times there, had a tall, male caucasin md, who was rude, dismissive and a terrible communicator. RN's fair.
I had a yellow "risk of falling" wristband and the let me walk out alone trying to... more get Uber. No one asked if I had a ride! I'll stop here.
