I came to the ER for vaginal bleeding. After being placed in a room, the nurse never came back to check on me. After an hour or so, I left my room to look for my nurse. When I found her I asked if I'd... more be seeing the doctor soon. She said the doctor would see me once he examined my lab results and that she'd go check if my lab work was ready. I never saw her after that. Then the doctor came in and asked me a few questions and left. I never saw him again. After being forgotten in the room for just over 3 hours, another nurse walked in to give me my release papers. I explained to her I was not comfortable leaving the hospital because I had not been given an explanation for my bleeding, to which she responded "you're bleeding because you're a woman". Astounding level of medical neglect. I never would've expected this from Scripps.
