If you love your family or friends do not bring them to Silver Cross Hospital. My elderly mother was brought here after complaining of difficulty breathing. We were initially informed by staff that my... more mother had a slight case of pneumonia and she was admitted. Doctors put her on an IV antibiotic. Further testing and cultures ruled out pneumonia and infection. With her age, my mother has some health issues and takes prescription medication and has for some years. However, she was always alert and mobile. After 4 days of being in Silver Cross, due to their treatment, my mother is now bedridden, unable to talk and can barely open her eyes. Now that we were told today that she does not have pneumonia, we had to tell the nurses to stop doping her up because we want to get her out of here. We do not know why it took 4 days to learn she does not have pneumonia but now that we do we're desperate to get her out of here walking, not rolling. Doctors here don't know what they're doing. Stay away!
