Since opening its doors in 1957, Southeast Alabama Medical Center has, through advanced treatment and technology, provided for the changing healthcare needs of the growing communities it serves which includes... more about 600,000 residents in neighboring communities and counties of Southeast Alabama, Southwest Georgia and the Florida Panhandle.
The only redeeming qualities offered from this experience were given by staff members who truly posses the qualities necessary for being successful in patient care.
I was treated by Dr. Paladagu,... more a man with little patience and willingness to assist me with making informed decisions. I was threatened and pressured into taking medications that did not improve my health or well being. I am deeply disappointed in my experience with this so called behavioral health center.
I do not recommend them.
Also, Dr. Vansickle injected me with Haldal while I was pregnant. Lawsuit much?
I was able to be seen and everyone in the building was helpful and nice. SAMC should be proud to have so many compassionate and helpful staff members and volunteers. This is especially... more true for Claudia Hall and others. Thank you.
The emergency room here has no sense of urgency. Came in at 1030 and was here until 230 for just a cat scan. This is the worse Emergency room experience ever. Traci, the nurse was the only reason for... more the 3 stars. Great attitude....
