DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL. I wish I could give less than 1 star. My wife's doctor is affiliated with St. John's and was supposed to give birth here. In her 41st week of pregnancy (August 21nd, 2017),... more she started having contractions. We waiting a whole day home until she felt they were strong and consistent. At 1am, she was having them every three minutes and were really strong. We rushed there and were received by uncaring nurses (Renee being the worst). They checked her and she was already 5 and the contractions were becoming unbearable. There was no doctor on-site (what a hospital) and the nurse called the one on call to receive further instructions. They said they were going to monitor her again after she walks for 2 hours (my wife could not even get up with the pain) and that most likely we were going to be sent home because "it didn't look like she was in labor yet". We immediately left to a real hospital (Montefiore) where my wife was quickly received and gave birth a few hours later. This place should not have the privilege to be called a hospital and we can tell by the other reviews posted.
Rate of readmission after discharge from hospital (hospital-wide)
