My wife checked in to have a scheduled procedure and the copay was $84. Two-weeks later I received a bill with no explanation except "Remaining balance". After SEVERAL frustrating calls to the hospital... more and finally the billing department in Nashville, I was told the person admitting me charged me the wrong amount and therefore I owed another $132. This is the THIRD and FINAL unsatisfactory experience at this hospital, because I will tell my Physician I will not go there for anything in the future. They can't answer the phone or return voicemails, and apparently their admitting department is also dysfunctional .
My 11 year old daughter couldn't breath, and all they did was gave her a bag to breath in over and over again! I was so worried that she was going to die! But all it was a panic attack which I think she... more has Asma but they won't check her for that.
I wish I could give it less of a rating. There was one patient passed on the bathroom floor and they told the parents they wouldn't help. They also billed me through a different medical care program that... more my insurance wouldn’t cover and then they refused to talk to my insurance so I had to mediate like a mom with two children who were mad at each other. Overall the ER is a horrible experience. I also did not get to see the dr until seven hours after I arrived, she was there for five minutes and then wouldn’t listen to my symptoms and gave me a generic diagnosis which was wrong.
