Stand-Up MRI of Miami is equipped with two MRI scanners—The Stand-Up® MRI and a 3.0T Wide-Bore MRI. The unique physical configuration of the 0.6T Stand-Up® MRI (A product of FONAR Corporation) makes... more it the world's most Patient Friendly™ MRI and also the only MRI that can scan patients in any position, allowing it to detect certain problems that would be underestimated or completely missed by any other type of MRI.
The High-Field 3.0T Wide Bore (a product of GE Healthcare) is a perfect complement to the Stand-Up® MRI, the combination of the two providing patients with the “Best of Both Worlds.”
My experience was really good; first having the appointment in a Saturday night?? WOW Wonderful; that was very convenient for me; I didn't have to deal with the traffic or ask for permission to leave early... more or coming late in my work; then people there super polite, nice, friendly; they told me to pay after the procedure just in case I couldn't do it. Hopefully more places like this one start working on weekends and extended hours.
Patient beware they will set you up with an appointment you show up and and they'll tell you the previous patient there MRI did not go well so they had to redo. What they're not telling you they just... more over schedule patients just in case if one of them drops off so you're sitting there for two hours or three hours. So you have to reschedule three times just like we did
Just a god sent . Did my Stand Up After trying an open MRI for cervical spine. The Stand Up was just a great experience . Watching basketball while having my stand up MRI. With the open had serious claustrophobia... more panic and could not proceed. Stand up was an easy calm gift . Never a regular MRI again. One of the best inventions ever!!
