I visited Stoke this week with my sister who is in a wheelchair with cerebral palsy. We got completely lost finding gynae outpatients dept but every member of staff we met could not do enough to help... more us especially ward 15, so kind and helpful. When we saw the doctor my sister was unable to be examined because there was no hoist to put her on the bed. Since this was a potentially life threatening diagnosis, it was very stressful for my sister , the doctor and me. We had to leave without her being looked at.
