In 1990, Sutter Health, a not-for-profit organization, began management services of the hospital, and in 1993 Sutter Amador Hospital became an affiliate of Sutter Health. The hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
I see reviews all over the place. I have been an ER patient and a regular in-bed patient. All services seemed to be done efficiently and with care. On the ERs, I go in late if condition permits so... more there is minimum wait time. Good folks in my experience.
I am a lgbt person. I was in the hospital in may of 2017 and was told I had a terminal illness in which they are now saying food allergies... I was discrimated by a Dr there and left the next day. Sick... more or not. The worst hospital I have ever been in. I have friend who was released twice in two weeks. To return and almost die.
I was taken care of in a kindly and comforting way, they took me in ER quickly and was admitted . Through my stay I was happy for the treatment I received by all the staff. They were all companionate and... more professional in their jobs. Thank you!
