I have frequented Swedish for chronic health issues over the past 3 years. I am treated kindly and quickly, usually in and out within a few hours. My longest stay was probably 6 hours but I had to get... more an X-ray for my chest. My shortest stay was less than an hour and probably the most expensive visit just to have the doctor touch my back and give me a bunch of prescriptions for my pain, but regardless of the cost I was treated quickly and correctly for the reason of my visit. I just wish it wasn't general practice to gouge the costs when someone comes in for a car accident because those benefits are exhausted quickly, reducing the care we can get and leaving the patient with unexpected bills.
I was admitted to Swedish in April. I had never been admitted to any hospital before. I was a little scared the first day but by the next day, I was more concerned if the next shift of nurses and staff... more would be as good as the ones leaving for the day. I was in there for 10 days and the entire staff was phenomenal. I had soo many people that seemed to be genuinely concerned for getting me well enough to go home. The nurses and staff came to see me before or after their shifts. They went above and beyond anything I thought they should do. I hope I never have to be in a hospital again, but if I am I will choose to be in Swedish.
I would like to thank the staff for provide outstanding service and making me feel very comfortable before my procedure, during and after. Everyone made sure I knew how to get to my appointment and then... more guided me on leaving to pick up my vehicle. Thanks again!!!
