Great services, admitted into this hospital after sustaining a head injury and a bleed on the brain. Great staff, great services, great hospital. I can not fault staff at all as they were thorough and... more quick.
People are complaining about the waiting times in A&E when the reason the waiting times are so high is because people are wanting to be seen for issues as little as a paper cut its pathetic, Its an emergency... more department! The staff are working as hard as they possible can, Giving up their dinner for people who could have waited & gone to the Dr's the next morning.
- I got taken to hospital by two amazing paramedics, I was in the hospital and seen by the DR within the first hour, Blood tests & X-rays taken within the first 2 hours!
- Pain relief given.
- Diagnosis given.
- I was very happy with the treatment I was provided.
Don't go to A&E if you're not in an emergency because chances are you'll get bored of waiting & you'll take it out on the medical professionals who can see nearly straight away if you require emergency treatment or not.
Had my little girl here back in July and it was one of the worst experiences I've had. The midwife was alright, but I couldn't stand her constantly calling me a 'good girl'. I'm 26 and didn't like that... more at all. Birth plan wasn't really followed and the staff on the ward were not very pleasant at all. I was refused my Mother visiting me after I'd had the baby, despite having no partner to visit - honestly, they should review their policies on this. Overall, very disappointed in the Maternity block.
