Bad experience here. Someone rear ended us at about 50 mph on K-96 in stand still traffic with my 1-year-old daughter in the car and they charged us a nice sum of money here to do absolutely nothing.... more They didn't even check my daughter other than observing that she was physically there and alive. Myself and my pregnant girlfriend, who was also in the car, are both still in pain including head, back, neck, shoulder, and arm pain, and were sent home being told to take aspirin or ibuprofen, so we basically paid for some extremely expensive tests. Extremely regrettable. I was actually born at this bospital but I will never come here again.
My mother was admitting into this hospital for exasperation. She was put on a ventilator for 2 weeks along the way we encountered several doctors who I feel didn’t have her best interests at heart. One... more Asian doctor told me the day of her admittance that I needed to remove her from life support. We hadn’t even came to understand what was wrong with my mom at that time.
Fast forward the next week she was still on the same ventilator developing pneumonia which I believe could have been prevented had they given my mom a tracheotomy instead of sedating her and keeping her on the ventilator.
There was one doctor who I believed cared about my moms condition and treatment plan. But she was removed from my moms file with no notice.
Leaving us with a doctor that didn’t communicate anything while my mom was in MICU. Overall this hospital is poor and if I could do it over again I would have transferred my mom to a better hospital and she might have still be alive. Just because it’s a hospital doesn’t mean it’s safe and the people there know what they are doing. I’m in such grief and I don’t know if I’ll ever forgive myself for not moving my mom to a better hospital.
How is it normal to wait hours to get stitches in a cut? The level of bureaucracy is amazing.
But since they can charge a left eye for simple X-RAYS they will get those for you ASAP even if you don't... more really need them.
